Sustainability Legal Catalyst Programme

About this programme

As global sustainability agendas gain momentum, Singapore enterprises are increasingly embarking on sustainability projects. However, the journey often presents complex risks and regulatory challenges that require specialised knowledge. This programme will bridge the gap between your sustainability ambitions and legal compliance by providing you with access to expert guidance.

You can engage our participating legal partners for guidance on specific sustainability-related legal challenges in five areas:

  1. Carbon Markets;
  2. Sustainability Due Diligence and Supply Chains;
  3. Infrastructure, Buildings, Energy, and Transportation Projects;
  4. Sustainable Finance; and
  5. Sustainability Governance & Reporting.

To make it more accessible for enterprises to receive legal advice at the outset of your sustainability initiatives for risk management, Enterprise Singapore will defray up to 50% of the legal fees for eligible businesses, with a cap of $90,000 per company.

Eligibility

Enterprises must meet the following requirements:

  1. Business entity registered or incorporated in Singapore;
  2. A minimum of 30% local shareholding held by Singaporean(s) and/or Singapore PR(s), based on ultimate individual ownership; and
