Shreya is an Associate Director in our Dispute Resolution practice group, specialising in complex and cross-border litigation and arbitration, as well as pre-dispute and/or non-contentious advisory work.

She advises and represents clients in investment treaty and commercial arbitrations under a wide array of institutional rules (including the ICSID, SIAC, ICC and UNCITRAL rules), seats (including Singapore, England and India) and governing laws (including Singapore, Korean, Indian and English law). She has also appeared at various levels of the Singapore courts.

Shreya graduated with an LL.B from the National University of Singapore in 2019, where she represented the university in the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot. She has a keen interest in public international law and graduated with an LL.M (Distinction) in International Business Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2025. She is dual qualified in Singapore and England & Wales.

  • Representing more than 700 holders of Credit Suisse Additional Tier 1 bonds from Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan in three discrete mass investment treaty arbitration proceedings against the Swiss Federal Government arising out of the controversial write-down of the bonds in March 2023.
  • Represented a technology company in the payments industry in resisting the setting aside of an arbitral award issued under the SIAC Rules: DWE v DWF [2026] SGHC 106.
  • Represented a Korean manufacturer in 2 SIAC arbitrations against its Iranian exclusive distributor for claims worth more than US$387 million arising out of alleged breaches of distributorship agreements resulting in loss of market share in Iran, as well as its counterclaims for outstanding receivables and unauthorised use of trademarks.
  • Represented a major Korean conglomerate’s engineering division / subsidiary in obtaining anti-enforcement and anti-suit injunctions against its Iraqi subcontractor in ICC emergency arbitration proceedings.
  • Represented a Myanmar-based telecommunications tower company in an expedited SIAC arbitration against its operator over breaches of a Master Lease Agreement.
