New expedited track for registry-level trade mark proceedings in Singapore

On 2 January 2025, the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore will launch a pilot initiative for an expedited track (“Expedited Track”) for certain proceedings before the Registrar of Trade Marks like trade mark oppositions and revocations. In this update, Managing Director of Intellectual Property Tony Yeo, Directors Yvonne Tang, Lim Siau Wen and Ruby Tham, and Associate Director Yuen Kit Kuan provide a summary on the Expedited Track.
