Drew & Napier secures double win at Managing IP Asia-Pacific Awards 2023 07 Jul 2023 We are proud to share that Drew & Napier bagged the Singapore Patent Disputes Firm of the Year and Singapore Trademark Disputes Firm of the Year at the Managing IP (MIP) Asia-Pacific Awards 2023. This is our third double win at the annual MIP Asia-Pacific Awards, which took place at JW Marriott Hong Kong on 5 July 2023. Four of our IP Directors are also recognised as highly regarded practitioners by their peers and clients in the latest MIP’s IP Stars list 2023. Tony Yeo is listed as Patent and Trademark Star while both Yvonne Tang and Lim Siau Wen are identified as Trademark Stars. Meryl Koh has made her debut on the list this year as a Patent Star. In addition to this recognition, Meryl is also featured in Managing IP’s Top 250 Women in IP list as one of five senior female IP practitioners in Singapore who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms based on MIP’s research conducted across 30 jurisdictions. Drew has maintained our top tier rankings in all areas of MIP’s 2022/2023 annual rankings: Patent Disputes, Patent Prosecution, Trademark Disputes, Trademark Prosecution, Copyright & related rights, and IP Transactions. This double win adds to the slew of awards that the Intellectual Property practice group received recently at the ALB Southeast Asia Law Awards 2023 where we were crowned Singapore Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year for the third time. The firm also clinched the Singapore Trademarks Firm of the Year at the annual Asia IP Awards. The MIP Asia-Pacific Awards recognises remarkable IP achievements by law firms and their practitioners in the region. The winners are determined through rigorous independent research by the publication, as well as through interviews, email and online surveys with firms, IP practitioners and their clients.
