SGX Issues Sustainability Reporting Guide

The Singapore Exchange Limited (“SGX”) has issued a policy statement (“Policy Statement”) and an accompanying guide (“Guide”) on sustainability reporting. The Policy Statement and Guide set out broad principles to guide listed companies in setting up a sustainability reporting framework.

This update discusses what sustainability reporting is and what it is used for. It also seeks to answer some frequently-asked questions about sustainability reports and their relevance to listed companies.
