Overview

Mao Ning’s main area of practice includes domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions spanning various industries including telecommunication, health care and real estate, private equity, joint ventures and reorganisations.

She also has experience in advising Singapore listed companies on compliance with the listing rules and corporate actions. She also advises on general corporate and commercial matters.

  • Advised NYSE listed Pfizer, a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, as Singapore counsel, on its multi-jurisdictional corporate restructuring projects.
  • Advised the founders of Royal Healthcare Pte. Ltd. (“Royal Healthcare”) in the sale of a majority stake in Royal Healthcare to Sojitz Corporation, a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange which operates in the wholesale trade industry, including in energy solutions and healthcare businesses. Royal Healthcare operates a multidisciplinary specialist medical centre in Singapore.
  • Advised SK ecoplant Co. Ltd, as Singapore counsel, on its acquisition of TES-Envirocorp at an enterprise value of US$1 billion.
  • Advised a consortium in the acquisition of a company which owned a hotel located in the prime central business district in Singapore, for approximately S$200 million.
  • Advised MOL Chemical Tankers Pte. Ltd., as Singapore counsel, on its acquisition of Fairfield Chemical Carriers Pte. Ltd. for approximately US$400 million.
