Tony Yeo recognised as one of Asia’s Top 15 IP Lawyers for the third consecutive year by ALB

Tony Yeo, Managing Director of Drew & Napier’s Intellectual Property Department, has once again been named as one of Asia’s Top 15 IP Lawyers by Asian Legal Business (ALB). Tony’s achievement is unparalleled, positioning him as the first Singapore lawyer to have received this recognition for three consecutive years since its inaugural edition in 2021.
 
The list spotlights the top 15 IP practitioners across Asia who are recognised to have excelled in the increasingly strategic field. Through a solid track record, the lawyers identified in the list have demonstrated themselves as reliable solution providers to their clients, formidable competitors to their peers, and creative pioneers to their followers.
 
This recognition continues to cement Tony’s stature in Singapore’s IP space. Tony was also recently identified as Asia IP Experts alongside fellow directors.
 
In an exclusive interview with ALB, Tony shared the strategies behind his recognition, a notable IP case requiring an innovative approach and the latest IP trends. One key strategy Tony emphasised is “a stellar team” to work with. He also emphasised the importance to “be practical and understand the clients’ goals. The clients expect us to think both legally and commercially.”
