Drew & Napier is the world’s top Asian restructuring law firm, placed 18th in the Global Restructuring Review’s (GRR) top 30 law firm rankings for insolvency and restructuring. Drew is one of two Asian law firms to make the list.
Drew was identified as an elite restructuring law firm owing to our strong track record for acting in complex and novel cross-border restructuring and insolvency cases. Other factors include the value of such cases handled, the types of legal instruments used for restructuring and winding-up process, as well as the applications of cross-border recognitions.
Recent billion-dollar debt restructuring deals we have led include: Nam Cheong Limited, Ezra Holdings Limited and EMAS Offshore Limited, as well as PT Bumi Resources, which also won the Debt Market Deal of the Year (Premium) Award during the Asian Legal Business SE Asia Legal Awards 2018, and the Finance Deal of the Year: Insolvency & Restructuring in the Asia Legal Awards 2018 by the Asian Lawyer.

The GRR Awards dinner, held in London on 26 June 2018, celebrated the achievements of international front runners in the cross-border restructuring and insolvency world.
