Drew is GAR100 firm, Cavinder Bull SC’s case a runner-up at GAR Awards 2016

Drew’s arbitration practice has been named one of the world’s top 100 arbitration practices by esteemed publication, Global Arbitration Review (GAR).

It is the 7th consecutive year that we have earned this standing in the GAR100 survey. The results were released at the recent GAR Awards 2016 ceremony held in Shanghai, which celebrated the world’s most active arbitration practices. The work and reputation of Directors Davinder Singh SC, Jimmy Yim SCCavinder Bull SCJulian Kwek, Erroll Ian Joseph, Gerui Lim, Rakesh Kirpalani, Associate Director Mahesh Rai and Senior Associate Teri Cheng received special mention in the GAR editorial describing Drew’s expertise.

In addition, one of Drew’s cases was a runner-up for “Most important published decision of the past year” at the GAR Awards. The case, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) TBK v CRW Joint Operation [2015] SGCA 30 was successfully handled by Directors Cavinder Bull SC, Foo Yuet Min and Senior Associate Lim May Jean.

To be included in the GAR100, firms are assessed on a variety of factors including the number and quantum of merits or jurisdictional hearings completed in the past two years, and the number of pending cases. Only elite firms earn a coveted spot on the global list.
