Drew & Napier’s Restructuring practice is the top Asian based practice in the 2019 Global Restructuring Review rankings

Drew & Napier’s Corporate Restructuring & Workouts practice has been ranked the world’s top Asian based practice by Global Restructuring Review (GRR). The firm has featured in the elite GRR Top 30 rankings for two consecutive years, and appears in the 19th position this year.

Led by Sushil Nair and Julian Kwek, both co-heads of Drew’s Corporate Restructuring & Workouts practice, and key directors Blossom Hing and Chan Wei Meng, the team has acted in some of the largest and most complex cross-border debt restructuring matters worldwide. 

These matters include the debt restructuring of the Ezra Group in the oil and gas space, Nam Cheong Ltd and its subsidiaries, Pacific Andes Resources Development Limited, which is part of the Pacific Andes group of companies involved in industrial fishing on a global scale, representing the official committee of unsecured creditors in the bankruptcy proceedings filed by Seadrill Limited and its affiliates in the US bankruptcy courts, as well as PT Bumi Resources’ global debt restructuring, one of the largest debt restructuring transactions in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
