Head of Banking & Finance, Pauline Chong, and Deputy Head Renu Menon, as well as Directors Blossom Hing and Ong Ken Loon co-authored the Singapore chapter in the International Comparative Legal Guide to Lending & Secured Finance 2020 that was recently published by Global Legal Group Ltd, London.
 
They provided a comprehensive overview of common issues in lending and secured finance laws and regulations in Singapore, with practical insight into guarantees, various forms of collateral security that can be taken over different types of assets and the perfection steps required, syndicated financing and financial assistance issues, as well as withholding, stamp and other taxes applicable to financing transactions, and the judicial enforcement and insolvency regime under Singapore law.
