Singapore courts have the power to issue Mareva injunctions in support of foreign litigation

In the recent case of Bi Xiaoqiong v China Medical Technologies, Inc [2019] SGCA 50, a five-member panel of the Singapore Court of Appeal provided clarity on the Singapore courts’ power to grant Mareva injunctions in support of foreign litigation.
