Personal Data Protection Commission extends public consultation deadline

In response to requests from some organisations, the Personal Data Protection Commission (“PDPC”) has extended the deadline for the submission of comments on its 3 consultation papers, to seek public feedback on the following:  

(a)   the proposed regulations on personal data protection in Singapore (“Proposed Regulations”);

(b)   the proposed advisory guidelines on key concepts in the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) (“Key Concepts Guidelines”); and

(c)   the proposed advisory guidelines on the PDPA for selected topics (“Selected Topics Guidelines”).

The deadline for submission of comments has been extended to 5.00 pm on 1 April 2013.
