Drew & Napier Directors contribute to Chambers Banking & Finance 2026 Guide

Directors Renu Menon, May Ng, Blossom Hing, SC, and Ong Ken Loon have co-authored the Singapore chapter of the Chambers Global Practice Guide: Banking & Finance 2026.

The chapter examines Singapore’s lending market and regulatory environment against a backdrop of geopolitical uncertainty and evolving financing needs. It explores key developments in alternative credit and fund finance, and ESG and sustainability-linked lending.

It provides practical guidance on key Singapore law considerations throughout the financing lifecycle, including licensing requirements, financing structures and documentation, tax, guarantees and security interests, enforcement, and the treatment of financing arrangements in insolvency and restructuring scenarios.

The chapter also covers project finance, including cross-border infrastructure financing in Southeast Asia. Drawing on the team’s experience in domestic and cross-border transactions, the chapter serves as a practical reference for navigating Singapore’s banking and finance market.
