On 11 September 2014, the Personal Data Protection Commission (“PDPC”) issued the finalised:
(a) Advisory Guidelines for the Education Sector;
(b) Advisory Guidelines for the Social Service Sector;
(c) Advisory Guidelines for the Healthcare Sector; and
(d) new chapter on photography, under the Advisory Guidelines on the PDPA for Selected Topics,
which illustrate how the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) applies to scenarios faced in each sector, as well as in relation to photography-related activities.
