May advises on a broad range of domestic and cross-border lending transactions, including bilateral and syndicated banking facilities, project financing, capital call facilities, real estate financing, working capital facilities and receivables financing. May has acted for various domestic and foreign lenders, as well as corporate borrowers and funds.

May is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Acted for a Singapore bank in relation to a green term loan to fund the acquisition of electric vehicles
  • Acted for the lenders in relation to secured USD term loan facilities granted to Indonesian incorporated companies to finance, among others, the acquisition of shares and asset enhancement works
  • Acted for the Singapore branch of a foreign lender in relation to an AUD term loan facility granted to a Singapore incorporated borrower to finance the acquisition of shares
  • Acted for the lender in relation to NZD credit facilities granted to New Zealand incorporated property development companies which were secured by mortgages over properties situated in New Zealand
  • Acted for a Cayman Islands fund in relation to a secured multicurrency capital call facility
  • Acted for a sponsor in relation to the restructuring of project financing facilities for a waste-to-energy plant in Singapore
