Court of Appeal considers asymmetric arbitration agreement

In the recent case of Wilson Taylor Asia Pacific Pte Ltd v Dyna-Jet Pte Ltd [2017] SGCA 32, the Court of Appeal held that an arbitration agreement, which provided only the Plaintiff with the right to elect whether to refer disputes between the parties to arbitration, was a valid arbitration agreement.
