A sign of relief: Extended COVID-19 relief from 31 July 2020

On 31 July 2020, the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Temporary relief for inability to perform contracts) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2020 came into operation.

This piece of subsidiary legislation enhances the existing protections for businesses and individuals who are unable to perform their contractual obligations due to COVID-19.
