Tony Yeo named among Asia’s Top 15 IP Lawyers for 5 straight years by Asian Legal Business

08 Jan 2026

Tony Yeo, Managing Director of Drew & Napier’s Intellectual Property Department, has once again been named among Asia’s Top 15 IP Lawyers by Asian Legal Business (ALB). This marks Tony’s fifth consecutive year on the list since its inaugural edition in 2021, making him the only lawyer from Singapore to have maintained this distinction across all five editions—a testament to his sustained influence and standing in the IP field.

ALB’s Top 15 IP Lawyers list spotlights leading practitioners across Asia who have distinguished themselves through landmark matters, strategic insight, and thought leadership across the full spectrum of intellectual property law including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

Tony is widely regarded as one of Singapore’s leading IP litigators and a trusted adviser on high-stakes, complex disputes. Most recently, he was also recognised in Asia IP’s Singapore IP Experts 2025 list, alongside fellow Drew directors.

In his exclusive interview with ALB, Tony shared insights into his approach to advising clients on IP matters, the importance of maintaining depth and currency of knowledge across diverse industries, and the evolving impact of artificial intelligence on the IP landscape. Reflecting on how practitioners stay relevant in a fast-changing environment, Tony said, “Staying current in IP requires curiosity, adaptability, and a strong appetite for learning. What excites me is that no two days are the same. Technology moves at breakneck speed, cutting across industries and constantly presenting new challenges and learning opportunities.”

We are proud to celebrate Tony’s achievements and his continued contribution to the strength and reputation of our IP practice, where he leads with exemplary legal acumen and strategic insight.
