Directors Sim Bing Wen and Samuel Koh named among SBR’s 20 most influential lawyers under 40 2025

Congratulations to Directors Sim Bing Wen and Samuel Koh, who have been named among Singapore’s 20 most influential lawyers under 40 by Singapore Business Review (SBR).
 
Bing Wen and Samuel join 18 other outstanding lawyers on the 2025 list, recognised for their work across a broad range of practice areas, from corporate and M&A to dispute resolution and banking and finance. Their inclusion reflects the firm’s reputation for excellence and reinforces the firm’s position as a leading practice with consistently high-calibre legal expertise.
 
Bing Wen “acted in some of Singapore’s biggest-ever disputes, including the $4.537b Hin Leong litigation — where he secured worldwide Mareva relief and consent judgments — and the ongoing $3.500b 1MDB-related claim for Standard Chartered Bank,” while Samuel successfully “obtained and resisted the annulment of a $188m (US$146m) SIAC arbitral award for Shanghai Electric Group Co. Ltd.”
