Directors Grace Chong and Chen Zhihui recognised in ALB Asia 40 under 40 2025

We are proud to announce that Directors Grace Chong and Chen Zhihui have been recognised in the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Asia 40 under 40 2025 list. Grace’s and Zhihui’s recognition further highlights their outstanding contributions and achievements in their respective fields, reaffirming Drew & Napier’s strong and consistent pipeline of legal talent. Drew continues to have the highest number of lawyers recognised among regional firms in this year’s edition.
Most recently, Grace was named “Fintech Lawyer of the Year at the ALB Pan Asian Legal Awards 2025, following her team’s recognition as Regulatory Law Firm of the Year at the same awards the year before.” She was also “ranked Band 1 by Chambers for Fintech in Singapore” and “has a strong track record of leading regulatory investigations across Singapore and the wider Asia region, frequently involving complex cross-border issues.”
Zhihui “was a key part of the team that represented a Singaporean contractor in a multi-million-dollar arbitration against a joint venture of two large Korean construction firms concerning a mixed-use development in Singapore.” He was also involved in “representing Dragages Singapore, part of the Bouygues Group, in litigation concerning indemnities and guarantees for the roofing works of the Singapore Sports Hub.” Zhihui has been praised by clients, who describe him as “extremely diligent, analytical, knowledgeable,” says that he “makes complex legal concepts easy to understand,” and call him “a brilliant lawyer and very easy to work with.”
Now in its 11th edition, the annual ALB Asia 40 under 40 list celebrates Asia’s top 40 legal professionals in the region under the age of 40. Grace and Zhihui were selected amidst nominations from over 500 outstanding nominees. The lawyers featured are represented from diverse jurisdictions and practice areas and were meticulously chosen through a rigorous selection process, evaluating their work quality, client and colleague recommendations, and their potential for future growth.
