Drew wins 4 awards

We are delighted to share that our CEO Cavinder Bull, SC and Director Adam Maniam were named Managing Partner of the Year (Singapore) and Young Lawyer of the Year, respectively, at the annual Asian Legal Business (ALB) SE Asia Law Awards 2022, held at the Grand Hyatt, Singapore last evening. This was the first time the awards ceremony was held in person again since the pandemic shifted past year’s ceremonies virtually. 

Cavinder was named Managing Partner of the Year (Singapore) for the second time, in part, for his leadership in growing Drew & Napier LLC and Drew Network Asia, his professional accomplishments and involvement in ground-breaking matters and contributions and involvement in the legal community.

For the second consecutive year, a Drew lawyer won the Young Lawyer of the Year award which recognises lawyers no more than 40 years of age with remarkable achievements in the profession and in the larger community. Director Adam Maniam took home the win this year following Director Foo Yuet Min’s win last year for the same category. This is affirmation of Drew’s continued efforts and commitment in grooming accomplished, young talent among our ranks. 

We are also happy to share that our real estate and private client practices bagged wins at the ceremony last evening. 

The firm won the Real Estate Law Firm of the Year award – the third time Drew has bagged this award and a testament to the standing of our Real Estate practice in the region. For the second year running, Drew won the Matrimonial and Family Law Firm of the Year award for handling some of the most complex, cross-border and intricate matrimonial and family law matters.

Now in its 18th year, the annual ALB SE Asia Law Awards recognises the exceptional performance of private practitioners and in-house counsel in SE Asia and throughout the region. The winners were decided following rigorous assessments by an independent judging panel of senior and expert legal industry leaders from various sectors corresponding to the diverse list of award categories.
