Drew & Napier acted for GigaDevice Semiconductor Inc. in its listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange

Director Wu Geng and his team, comprising Associate Director Joelle Fang and Senior Associate Sarah Tan, acted as Singapore legal advisers to GigaDevice Semiconductor Inc. (“GigaDevice”) in its listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 13 January 2026. The total offering size was approximately US$600 million.

On its first trading day, GigaDevice’s shares soared almost 40% higher. Founded in 2005, GigaDevice is an integrated circuit design house for a diverse range of chips (including, Flash, niche dynamic random access memory, analog chips and sensor chips) that can be used in consumer electronics, automobiles and industrial applications (amongst others). GigaDevice has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2016 and is ranked second globally and first in Chinese Mainland with a global market share of 18.5% for the NOR Flash category in terms of sales in 2024.
