Drew & Napier was ranked Band 1 standalone for its Litigation and Telecommunications and Media & Technology (TMT) practices. The top tier rankings were released by highly regarded legal publication, Chambers Asia 2011.

Drew was also in Band 1 for Intellectual Property work (including in Malaysia) and Restructuring/Insolvency.

Drew had the most number of ranked litigators. They were Davinder Singh, SC, the only litigator in Singapore accorded the accolade of "Star Performer", Cavinder Bull, SC, who was in Band 1, and Jimmy Yim, SC, Indranee Rajah, SC, Harpreet Singh Nehal, SC and Hri Kumar Nair, SC.

According to feedback to Chambers, Drew is "the best for litigation in Singapore. We appreciate their strategic thinking. They are client-oriented and put their heart and soul into it. We haven't lost a case yet."

Drew’s TMT practice maintained its formidable lead in the field as the standalone Band 1 firm with Director Lim Chong Kin described as a leading practitioner. The practice also received glowing accolades from clients who said that Drew "pride themselves on being the best in Singapore, and they have good cause to say that – both for the quality of their lawyers and for their incredible work ethic, co-operative spirit and commitment to excellence. They are as good as it gets – we couldn’t ask for better counsel.”

Drew’s depth of talent also shone through in its other leading practice groups, with three lawyers recommended for both Intellectual Property (IP) and Restructuring/Insolvency.

Dedar Singh GillMorris John and Tony Yeo, renowned in the sector for their IP practice, were again named as leading practitioners in the category. Directors Sushil Nair and Julian Kwek were ranked Band 1 for Restructuring/Insolvency, joined by Blossom in the leading individuals’ list.

Drew’s strength in Tax was also recognised, with the head of practice, Ong Sim Ho, lauded as a Band 1 lawyer.
