Director Lim Chong Kin co-chairs GCR Live Singapore 8th Annual Asia-Pacific Law Leaders Forum on 7 and 8 March 2019

Director Lim Chong Kin will be co-chairing the GCR Live Singapore 8th Annual Asia-Pacific Law Leaders Forum next week on 7 and 8 March. He has been co-chairing this prestigious competition law conference consecutively since 2016.
 
Top competition authorities and leading practitioners from around the world will be converging at this event to discuss competition law issues. The forum organiser, GCR, is internationally recognised as the world’s leading competition law and policy journal and news service.
 
Chong Kin, as co-chair, will be hosting and moderating the ASEAN Regulators Roundtable which would provide an update on enforcement policies from regulators across the ASEAN region. The panel will comprise of the Assistant Chief Executive of the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore; Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysia Competition Commission, Kuala Lumpur; Deputy Director General of the Vietnam Competition and Consumer Authority, Hanoi; Vice Chairperson of the Office of Trade Competition Commission, Bangkok; Deputy Director General of the Legislative Vetting and Advising Department, Union Attorney General’s Office, Myanmar; Commissioner of the Philippine Competition Commission, Manila; Commission Member of the Competition Commission of Brunei Darussalam, Bandar Seri Begawan; and Head of Legal of the PR and Cooperation Bureau, Indonesia's Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition, Jakarta.
 
In addition, Dr. Corinne Chew, our Deputy Head of Competition and Regulatory Practice, will also be speaking on the cartels, leniency applications and cross-border enforcement panel in the forum.
