Three-step framework for analysing duties of agents and alleged breaches 15 Mar 2021 The recent decision in Tonny Permana v One Tree Capital Management Pte Ltd and another [2021] SGHC 37 sets out a fresh framework to identify the scope of an agent’s duties, which provides a structured approach towards the resolution of disputes where multiple claims of varying nature are levied against an agent. This update discusses the pertinent parts of the decision.
