The Global Arbitration Review published an article co-authored by Senior Associate Emmanuel Duncan Chua on the latest amendments to the SIAC rules.

In it he discusses the following matters, among others:

  • The new governance structure and the creation of a new “Court of Arbitration”;
  • The embracing of investment treaty arbitration by the SIAC;
  • Additional powers granted to the registrar to oversee the conduct of arbitrations; and
