MAS issues update to the “Frequently Asked Questions on the Payment Services Act” on 7 March 2022

On 7 March 2022, the Monetary Authority of Singapore issued an update to the “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the Payment Services Act (PS Act)”. This update summarises the significant changes that may impact projects and businesses which have been operating on the basis that stablecoins were “e-money” under the Payment Services Act 2019.
