Director Chan Wei Meng and Senior Associate Chua Yong Quan co-authored the Singapore chapter of ALB’s Asia Insolvency and Restructuring Guide 2021

Director Chan Wei Meng and Senior Associate Chua Yong Quan co-authored the Singapore chapter of the ALB Asia Insolvency and Restructuring Guide 2021 that was recently published by Asian Legal Business (ALB).

The Singapore chapter provided a broad overview of the corporate restructuring and insolvency regime in the city state, including informal workouts, schemes of arrangement, judicial management and liquidation. The chapter also highlighted the significant reforms brought about by the Companies Amendment Act and the enactment of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act (IRDA).
