Gary Pryke speaks about local firm tie-ups with international firms

Talks over tie-ups between local and international law firms sparked lively debates across the industry after one such arrangement fell through.

On these tie-ups, Head of Drew & Napier’s Mergers & Acquisitions Department, Gary Pryke said: “We have no immediate plans to tie up with any other firm. While we can understand why some firms are looking at tie-ups, we’ve found there’s a huge advantage to remaining ­available to work with the many international firms that have no formal ­relationships in Singapore.”
