Mahesh Rai and Zhuo Jiaxiang selected for Young Amicus Curiae scheme 28 Nov 2013 We are pleased to announce that Senior Associates Mahesh Rai and Zhuo Jiaxiang have been selected by the Supreme Court for the Young Amicus Curiae Scheme. The scheme allows selected young advocates and solicitors to assist the Court on novel points of law or important issues of public policy. Young amicus may also be called upon to assist the court in cases involving first-time prosecutions under new or amended provisions of the law. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates to hone their advocacy skills and, at the same time, contribute to the development of the law by providing assistance to the court in appropriate cases.
