AI Agents in Agentic AI

20 July 2026

‘Agentic AI’ is promoted as the next big thing in the digital transformation of work, life and learning. Such systems are often explained to be based on GenAI and Large Language Models (LLM) for their “intelligence”, compared to the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) approach which was not too long ago at the forefront of automation, before which we had web services doing everything for you online, which was supposed to go beyond the macros people used for decades to automate their work onsite.

Between endless lists of optimistic “just imagine your agent will do x for you…” filling books, articles and talks, it remains hard to find clear explanations of what an AI agent actually is (e.g. compared to RPA etc. and where its “intelligent behaviour” comes from).

In this webinar, you will get a less hyped, more implementation oriented view of what an AI agent at its core is, which will allow you to better decide and manage risks about where an AI agent could be better or worse (especially in terms of security and privacy) versus RPA, or versus even just a simple macro.
