Drew's Davinder Singh, SC wins Chambers' Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession award

Drew & Napier received top honours in the Chambers Asia-Pacific 2014 rankings released today. CEO Davinder Singh, SC was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession award and the firm received Band 1 rankings in LitigationIntellectual PropertyRestructuring & InsolvencyCompetition & Antitrust and Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT).

The Outstanding Contribution award was given to only two recipients each year in recognition of their exceptional work in their respective fields. Mr Singh is the only Singaporean to receive the award this year. He also received the coveted “Star Individual” ranking, a category above Band 1. This marks the 4th consecutive year that Mr Singh is the only litigator in the country to be ranked as a “Star Individual”. Clients interviewed by Chambers describe Mr Singh as "[a] cut above the rest and the best in the business." He is “very much the lead litigator among the Singaporeans” and “the gold standard. “Handling all areas of litigation and international arbitration work, this “extremely gifted advocate” is “as skilled as can be.”

Drew continues to lead the market in dispute resolution. For the 8th consecutive year, Drew’s litigation practice has been ranked Band 1 with Davinder Singh, SC, Jimmy Yim, SCCavinder Bull, SC and Hri Kumar Nair, SC named as leading individuals. The arbitration practice is recognised for the 5th consecutive year with Davinder Singh, SC, Jimmy Yim, SC and Cavinder Bull, SC as leading individuals. Drew received the highest number of lawyer recommendations across both dispute resolution categories among the Singapore law firms.

Continuing its top performance, Drew’s TMT practice is ranked for the 7th consecutive year in Band 1. The practice is headed by Band 1-ranked Lim Chong Kin, who is praised for his regulatory prowess.
