Drew & Napier named Singapore’s Contentious IP Firm of the Year again

13 Mar 2015

Drew & Napier LLC’s Intellectual Property team has received international recognition for its work by clinching the prestigious Singapore Contentious IP Firm of the Year 2015 award at Managing Intellectual Property’s (MIP) Global Awards ceremony in London.

Drew & Napier is the only firm in Singapore that has received this accolade, since the inception of the Contentious IP Firm of the Year award in 2014. The predecessor to this award is the Firm of the Year award, which we won in 2013. These accolades are testament to the expertise and skill of the IP team, cementing our position as Singapore’s top IP practice.

In addition, Drew & Napier is also the only firm in Singapore that is ranked Tier One in all areas of the World IP Survey 2015, namely Patent Contentious, Patent Prosecution, Trade Mark Contentious, and Trade Mark Prosecution.

Drew’s lawyers - Dedar Singh Gill, Tony Yeo and Gerald Koh have also been voted as IP Stars by MIP readers and peers in the same survey. IP Stars are defined as being the IP “expert of experts” in Singapore.

Our first-rate IP practice is managed by Directors Dedar Singh Gill and Cecelia Girvin. The practice has also bagged Asia IP’s Singapore Trade Mark Firm of the Year title for three years running since 2012, and is consistently ranked Tier 1 by international legal publications like Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.
