Drew & Napier offers outstanding students the opportunity to work with our lawyers and learn firsthand about our different business groups. Clerkships are presently available in the following practice areas:

During the clerkship, each clerk will be assigned a mentor who will guide the clerk in his/her work. The clerkship offers a unique opportunity for clerks to be engaged in various aspects of practice, including client management, court appearances, legal research and drafting, as well as attend various meetings involving litigation or corporate matters. Clerks are also invited to participate in in-house legal seminars, as well as social functions of the firm.

Each clerkship period lasts four weeks. Shorter or longer periods will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

We offer clerkship positions for May to August, and December each year. Applications should reach us by end-March.

How to apply:
We welcome all law undergraduates having successfully completed 1st year of Law School. Simply submit your curriculum vitae which should include the following:

  • Personal particulars, including nationality, mailing address, email address and contact numbers
  • Academic performance at 'O' Levels, 'A' Levels and Tertiary (with breakdown of results for each subject)
  • Awards/Prizes/Scholarships
  • Extra-curricular activities
  • LLB subject options
  • A recent passport size photograph
  • Preferred area of practice during clerkship
  • Any other information which you may consider of interest to us
