- Move will expand Drew & Napier’s strengths in mergers, acquisitions and takeovers –

16 August 2007 – There are new developments in the legal scene with the announcement by Drew & Napier LLC (“Drew & Napier”) that Yeo Wee Kiong and his directors from Yeo Wee Kiong Law Corporation (“YWKLaw”) will join the firm.

A former investment banker, Wee Kiong has over 20 years of corporate, corporate finance, M&A and securities experience. Wee Kiong, who is also an Independent Director of Keppel Corporation, returns to Drew & Napier where he was previously a partner. His team of senior corporate finance lawyers, each with 10 to 18 years of practice experience, will move with him to Drew & Napier.

The team will be joining Drew & Napier’s corporate and banking group on 1 September and after that, YWKLaw will cease operations. The move will expand Drew & Napier’s corporate finance resources particularly in public mergers and acquisitions, and takeovers which is a practice area led by Gary Pryke.
