DREW & NAPIER LLC ADVISES IN S$208 MILLION ACQUISITION OF SNP CORPORATION
7 July 2008 – Leading Singapore law firm, Drew & Napier LLC (“Drew & Napier”), is acting for SNP Corporation Ltd (“SNP”) in the proposed acquisition by Toppan Printing Co., Ltd ("Toppan") announced on 10 June 2008. Toppan is making a voluntary cash offer to acquire all the issued ordinary shares of SNP at S$1.76 per share. Based on 118,254,448 issued shares, the acquisition is valued at S$208 million.
The acquisition of SNP will enhance Toppan's presence in Greater China, Singapore, the United States, Europe and Thailand. It is also envisaged that with the acquisition, SNP will complement Toppan to become one of the world's largest printing groups by providing access to state-of-the-art technology and global markets.
