DREW & NAPIER ADVISED IN ROXY-PACIFIC INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING
13 March 2008 – Drew & Napier LLC (“Drew & Napier”) acted as counsel to Roxy-Pacific Holdings Limited ("Roxy-Pacific") on their initial public offering on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("SGX-ST").
Hotel company listings are considered rare in Singapore. Roxy-Pacific, a Singapore property and hotel company, raised S$39.9 million from the sale of offer and placement shares. Roxy-Pacific's market capitalisation was about S$190 million based upon the offer price of S$0.30 upon its initial public offer ("IPO").
Roxy-Pacific was established in May 1967 and is a home-grown specialty property and hospitality group, principally engaged in the development and sale of residential properties and the ownership of Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel and other investment properties.
The Drew team was led by Mr Bijay Nawal, Director of the Banking & Corporate Department, and was assisted by Mr Sundararaman Natarajan.
