ACQUISITION AND LEASEBACK OF 79 TUAS SOUTH STREET 5, SINGAPORE 637604 5 May 2008 – Drew & Napier LLC (“Drew & Napier”) acted as counsel to the Cambridge Industrial Trust (“CIT”) in the acquisition and leaseback of 79 Tuas South Street 5 Singapore 637604 (“Property”). RBC Dexia Trust Services Singapore Limited, in its capacity as trustee of CIT, exercised the call option to acquire the Property on 30 April 2008. The acquisition and leaseback of the Property to Creative Polymer Industries Pte Ltd (“Creative”) was completed on the same day for a purchase price of S$10,400,000.CIT is Singapore’s first independent industrial real estate investment trust listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (“SGX-ST”). Since listing on 25 July 2006, CIT has grown from the initial asset portfolio of 27 to the current asset portfolio of 43 properties valued at S$966.8 million, all of which are located in Singapore.
