Drew & Napier emerged as the top winner at the Asian Legal Business (ALB) SE Asia Law Awards on Friday, 20 June. The firm beat all other local and foreign law firms, walking away with the highest number of awards for the evening.
-Commercial Litigation Firm of the Year
-Real Estate Firm of the Year
-Insolvency & Restructuring Deal of the Year (Asia Pulp & Paper)
-Singapore M&A Deal of the Year (STS-STATS ChipPac)
-Singapore Deal of the Year (STS-STATS ChipPac)
The firm sealed its reputation as the top litigation practice, clinching the Commercial Litigation Firm of the Year award for an unprecendented fourth year in a row, since the inception of the Awards.
For its involvement in the highly complex STS-STATS ChipPac deal, the firm was twice awarded, winning both the Singapore Deal of the Year and the Singapore M&A Deal of the Year awards.
Another consecutive win of the evening was the Insolvency & Restructuring Deal of the Year, which Drew has received for 2 years in a row. It also emerged as the Real Estate Firm of the Year beating 5 other nominees.
In total, Drew & Napier hauled in 5 awards out of 36, its best showing among all law firms in the history of the Awards.
