LAUNCH OF VERITAS I FUND - Drew & Napier LLC as counsel to the FUND manager


21 October 2008 ¨C Drew & Napier LLC (ˇ°Drew & Napierˇ±) acted as counsel to the constitution of and to the fund manager of the Veritas I Fund (ˇ°Veritas Iˇ±) which was successfully launched in September 2008.  

Veritas I is a Singapore constituted open-ended umbrella unit trust comprising two Sub-Funds. The total size of Veritas I is approximately USD$50 million. Veritas I is targeted at institutional investors outside of Singapore and is designed to provide access to public and private equity and pre-IPO investment opportunities.  

The Trustee and Administrator of Veritas I is SG Trust ( Asia ) Ltd. The Custodian Bank is Soci¨¦t¨¦ G¨¦n¨¦rale Bank & Trust, Singapore Branch.  

The Drew & Napier team was led by Mr Petrus Huang, Director.
