About Siew Ling

Siew Ling joined Drew & Napier in 2008 and became an Associate Director in 2010. She began her practice in Malaysia in 2001 at Skrine, Kuala Lumpur and later at Zaid Ibrahim & Co., Kuala Lumpur.

Areas of Practice

Siew Ling’s practice encompasses capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international joint ventures and general advisory on corporate and commercial law.

Experience

Her transaction experience includes:

  • Initial public offering of securities of companies involved in industries ranging from operating restaurants, franchises, construction, oil and gas related industries
  • Acquisitions and disposals of shares and businesses in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Acting as instructing counsel for corporate transactions in British Virgin Island, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Seychelles and Thailand
  • Advising various listed companies on various corporate exercises, such as the implementation of share option schemes, interested person transactions and share issue mandates
