About Siau Wen
Siau Wen is a Director in the Intellectual Property Department. She joined Drew & Napier in 1999 as an Associate.
Areas of Practice
Siau Wen is experienced in the registration of trade marks, and corporate IP matters, such as licensing and the sale/transfer of intellectual property assets in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.
She is also active in the area of intellectual property litigation, with a focus on trade mark infringement and passing off cases, copyright infringement, trade mark opposition, rectification and invalidation matters.

Raids and subsequent legal action against counterfeiters on behalf of sportswear and luxury goods conglomerates.

Trademark rectification action for NBA Properties, Inc.

Opposition by a major tequila manufacturer and distributor against an advertising company in respect of the "Tequila" trade mark.

Defending appeal filed in the High Court against the registration of the "Eagle Express" trade mark.

Reviewing and drafting IP licensing and asset transfer agreements for major corporations.

Defending Research & Development Pty Limited in a trade mark invalidation and revocation action against their “WARMAN” mark at the High Court where bad faith, non-use, fraud and misrepresentation were alleged.
