About Kian Min
Ong Kian Min was awarded the President's Scholarship and Police Force Scholarship in 1979. He graduated with B.Sc. (Hons) from the Imperial College of Science and Technology in 1982. Thereafter, he read law and obtained a LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1988 and to the Singapore Bar the following year. From 1994 to 30 September 2000, he was a partner with Shook Lin & Bok. On 1 October 2000, he joined Drew & Napier as a Consultant.

He currently practises Corporate and Banking law.
Experience (Corporate and Banking Law)
In the course of his career, Ong Kian Min has been involved in a wide spectrum of corporate and commercial matters in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, corporate restructuring and establishment of joint ventures where he assisted Singapore-based as well as foreign multi-national corporate clients in structuring their investments both in Singapore and regionally.
Experience (Corporate)
Ong Kian Min is a Director and member of the Audit Committee of several Singapore publicly listed companies. He also serves on the Advisory Board of a number of technology companies and venture funds.
Appointments / Memberships
A member of Parliament since January 1997, he also serves as Vice Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee (GPC) for Transport and is a member of the GPC for Finance, Trade and Industry.
