About Jacqueline

Jacqueline joined Drew & Napier in 2000. She is a Director in Drew & Napier in the Trade Mark Division of the Intellectual Property Department.

Areas of Practice

Jacqueline handles trade mark registration. At Drew & Napier, she has gained wide experience in trademark registration and oppositions, representing major international corporations.

Jacqueline is also experienced in general, civil and criminal litigation, having been a sole practitioner for 18 years before joining Drew & Napier. She has also taught Criminal Procedure at Temasek Polytechnic.

Experience

Jacqueline has extensive criminal litigation experience. Her experience includes:

  • State-appointed Junior Counsel for accused in several capital offences
  • State-appointed Counsel for an accused in a capital offence case of murder
  • State-appointed Lead Counsel for an accused in a capital offence case of drug trafficking
  • Appearing before the High Court and the Court of Criminal Appeal to argue against conviction and sentence
