About Feei Sy

Feei Sy joined Drew & Napier in October 2002, and became a director on 1 May 2008. Prior to joining Drew, he was a litigation associate in a medium sized firm and brings with him a broad range of experience in civil and commercial litigation. He is a Director in Hri Kumar SC’s team.

Areas of Practice

Feei Sy’s areas of practice cover Civil & Commercial Litigation, focusing on banking recovery (mortgagee’s action), corporate and personal insolvency (winding-up and bankruptcy) and general debt recovery.

Experience

The following are some of the litigation matters which Feei Sy has been involved in:

  • Represented a local bank in a claim for monies owing under a bank account opened by the bank’s employee in its customer’s name
  • Represented a local bank in claims by, and against, various customers in relation to unauthorised withdrawals of several million dollars from bank accounts
  • Represented a local bank in an interpleader summons hearing involving, inter alia, fraudulent preferences
  • Represented a foreign bank in a claim for the return of securities worth over €900,000 from a customer
  • Representing a company in a High Court Suit against a listed company for breaches of obligations under a Shareholders Agreement
