About Elaine
Elaine is a Professional Support Lawyer in the Knowledge Management & Training department of Drew & Napier LLC.
Elaine’s experience is in the areas of corporate and banking law. She read law at the National Univeristy of Singapore on a Keppel Corporation Ltd scholarship. After graduating in 1995 and completing her pupillage at Drew & Napier, she was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an advocate and solicitor in 1996. She then returned to Keppel to serve her bond as group legal counsel. In this capacity, she handled a broad range of legal issues and also performed corporate secretarial functions for the group companies.
Following a stint as legal counsel with a major hospitality company, Elaine joined an established Japanese bank in 2004. As Assistant Manager, Legal & Compliance, she advised the bank on corporate and banking law and compliance issues. She also organised and conducted compliance trainings for the bank management and staff.
