Banking
Our Banking and Finance team is experienced in a wide range of credit transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loans, as well as e-banking and other IT-related banking issues.

Working closely with our specialist tax team, we structure and document a variety of trade finance and structured finance transactions.

Increasing globalisation of the economy has led to greater exposure to both currency and interest rate risks, and derivatives have become an important tool for hedging those risks. Our finance team advises on the use of derivatives in financial and commercial transactions and on the offering of over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives as a banking product.

Corporate Finance and Capital Markets
Singapore is an active and growing centre for corporate finance and capital market activities, serving not only local but also regional and international business needs. Our team is actively involved in these activities and has a wealth of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, capital markets and regulatory work.

Being able to combine the strengths of the Finance Group and the Info-communications Business Group means that we are well-placed to assist Internet and other new and converging technology start-ups in structuring their operations and in accessing equity markets.

Venture Capital
A large number of venture capital organisations have set up regional operations in Singapore and special tax incentives have been introduced to cater to this industry. Our finance, tax and corporate teams work closely together to provide astute commercial and legal service to this industry.

Infrastructure and Project Finance
Drew & Napier LLC has a dynamic infrastructure team comprising lawyers from various disciplines. Our infrastructure team is involved in power and energy projects, telecommunications, transportation, waste disposal, water, construction and housing. We are familiar with the workings of the multilateral agencies and export agencies that provide funding for infrastructure development in Asia, and we advise on international standard form contracts used in infrastructure projects and appropriate forms of dispute resolution.
