Drew’s Davinder Singh SC wins Disputes Lawyer of the Year award, Drew clinches Cross-border Dispute/Litigation of the Year award at The Asian Lawyer’s Emerging Markets Awards

Drew & Napier received two coveted awards at The Asian Lawyer’s inaugural Emerging Markets Awards last night.

Our CEO, Mr Davinder Singh SC, was named Disputes Lawyer of the Year.

Drew also won the Cross-border Dispute/Litigation of the Year award for its successful prosecution of one of the largest corruption cases in Brunei Darussalam. Drew’s team, comprising Mr Singh, Gary Low, Cheryl Tan, Li Yuen Ting, Tony Tan and Yap Hao Jin represented the Attorney-General of Brunei in a $2.5 million corruption case which was dubbed one of the biggest corruption cases in the history of Brunei Darussalam.

At this awards ceremony, ALM and the Asian Lawyer identified the most knowledgeable and trusted advisors across a range of practice areas in the regions of South East Asia and India. Lawyers who worked on the year’s most innovative and creative matters were awarded.
