Apply what you learn at law school to real world problems. You will not be an observer. We will embed you in one of our teams, challenge you with interesting work, and give you a taste of what being a Drew & Napier lawyer is all about. Pick up some practical experience and stretch your capabilities at Drew.
The Mentor
As an intern, you will be assigned to a team led by one of our directors. We also pair you with a mentor. Your mentor will be a younger lawyer who would have been in your shoes not long ago and will be a buddy to you as you find out about legal practice.

We expect you to contribute actively to the team that you join. You will see real cases, participate in discussions on the law and strategy, go to court with our lawyers and be involved in transactions.
We encourage you to attend the talks and training workshops that we organise for our lawyers, and see the resources we put into our lawyers’ professional development and keeping them abreast of the latest in the law and practice.
Along the way, you should have fun. Meet our directors and lawyers during regular tea sessions, join firm events; and give us the chance to get to know you better.
